One of InvadeNOLA’s favorite fashion designers, Matthew Arthur, recently announced that he will be a contestant on the next season of Project Runway. On this hit Lifetime TV show, designers compete in a series of sometimes ridiculous design challenges for a spot at New York Fashion Week and a slew of awesome prizes. Inspired by ideas on celebrity, addiction, and rehab, Matthew’s collection uses bold patterns and interesting color combos. While he will be missed here in Nola, we wish him the best of luck while he competes.
It is wonderful to see that the hard work of our local designers and our growing fashion scene opening doors for our amazing creative talent.
