Maria Levitsky is a photographic and other-media artist currently working in New Orleans. Her work has explored architecture, construction and deconstruction over the course of a decade and a half. She moved to New Orleans to return to school for an MFA at the University of New Orleans, and found great inspiration and source material in the shifting architectural landscape of post-Katrina reconstruction.
