Become a Writer
We are on the hunt for witty, irreverent, and hyper modern writers for our New Orleans’ community based, indie online magazine. Be aware, we are a growing niche online magazine. (That means we are on a shoe string budget.) Paid assignments are distributed through the mailing list above and we kindly accept gratis articles. That being said, our primary goal is to put forth the highest level of content we can muster. Sometimes that means revisions.
Ways to contribute
- Single Blog posts – Usually 300 – 450 words, but it can go longer depending on the topic. Assignments are distributed through the list above or ideas can be submitted to editor@invadenola.com. A full list of topics we appreciate are listed below.
- Weekly Columnists – This is the perfect opportunity for growing writers to build their writing portfolio. Currently we only have unpaid columnist positions. To apply to become a weekly columnist, submit a writing sample and your area of interest: Art, Fashion, Music, or Culture
- Bi-Monthly Magazine Writers – Assignments are distributed through the Email List above
Ideas are always accepted via email
